How long does it take to get a construction permit in Rwanda?
For residential projects in Kigali, RDB typically processes permits within 30–60 working days once a complete application is submitted. Our team prepares and submits all documentation on your behalf, and we track the application daily to avoid delays.
Do you work outside Kigali?
Yes. We have completed projects in all five provinces of Rwanda, including Musanze, Huye, Rubavu, and Rwamagana. We maintain regional site offices and local subcontractor networks to ensure the same quality standard nationwide.
What is the minimum project size you accept?
We take on residential projects from single-room extensions to full estate developments. For commercial and infrastructure work, our minimum contract value is RWF 50 million. Contact us and we'll let you know within 24 hours whether your project is a good fit.
Can I supply my own materials?
Yes, though we recommend using our procurement network. We source materials at volume pricing from vetted Rwandan and regional suppliers, which typically saves clients 10–15% compared to retail. If you prefer to supply specific items, we'll accommodate that in the contract.
What warranties do you provide?
All residential projects include a 12-month structural warranty from handover date. Commercial projects carry a 24-month structural warranty. MEP systems are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, and we manage all claims on your behalf during the warranty period.
